Suzanne Johnson, a 25-year educator with School District U-46, will be its next superintendent. The School Board announced Tuesday that Johnson, deputy superintendent of instruction and interim superintendent since February, would fill the job effective July 1 pending completion of contract negotiations and the board's final approval in June. 'The board is delighted to welcome Dr. Johnson as our new superintendent,' board President Sue Kerr said in a prepared tatement. 'We look forward to working with her and are excited about the future of U-46.
