ECC baseball player and alum named to NJCAA Gold Glove Team The 2023 NJCAA Division II All-North Central District/Region 4 Rawlings Gold Glove Team recently named Elgin Community College's Erik Teran II Gold Glove First Baseman. The Gold Glove goes to the top position player with the best fielding percentage for their respective position in the region. Teran posted a .994 fielding percentage by making just two errors in 346 total chances with 327 putouts, according to an ECC news release Teran is heading to the University of Tennessee this month, where he plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology, then hopes to work as an athletic trainer for a professional or college team, the release states.
