The Hanover Township Mental Health Board approved $40,370 in funding at its Sept. 26 meeting at the Hanover Township Senior Center. Summit School, Inc., received $25,000 in Capital Funds to replace deteriorating windows at their facility on River Road in Elgin. The agency offers therapeutic day school and early learning prevention preschool services to the community. Currently, Summit School, Inc., serves 150 township residents. The board also awarded $12,500 in Capital Funding to GiGi's Playhouse to assist with kitchen renovations.
