The Vikings had just pulled out a 35-34, double-overtime victory to earn their third straight win to end the season at 4-5. Streamwood nearly pulled out the victory, scoring 14 unanswered points after the Vikings took a 21-7 lead on TJ Miller's 1-yard touchdown run that ended a 67-yard drive with 11:54 left in the fourth quarter. But Geneva held its ground in the extra periods as it scored a pair of touchdowns on both of its possessions.
